I am so excited to be joining the Empowered Living Company team! When Cate opened her gym, I attended the first workout. From the very beginning I felt pulled to be a part of her vision. I knew I wanted to help others improve their physical fitness.
I believe that training our bodies in thy gym spills over into all aspects of our lives and that exercise doesn't take away from our day but adds to it. Less stress, more energy, positive thoughts, confidence, fun and community are just some of the benefits that I have noticed since coming to ELC. I look forward to the new journey in my life of helping others reach their fitness goals.

Host - Anxiety WOD Podcast
I coach the CrossFit class on Tuesday & Thursday, 1 on 1s in nutrition, work with athletes, and help with our seminars. I've been working with and studying health and fitness for the past 17 years.
After a lifetime of athletics my body was shot, after having to start over from many surgeries, I found that CrossFit was the most effective way to heal and become functional once again to navigate those rough waters. Plenty of times I have wanted to quit, but with the support of people in our CrossFit community I've sailed on through the murky waters and made it to shore. I look forward to helping everyone I can with their goals and aspirations.
My focus includes high intensity training, mindset, meditation and breathing, life coaching, nutrition, and spreading positive vibes! See you soon!
CrossFit L1 Trainer
I was drawn to CrossFit after watching my husband Cory compete. The action, the atmosphere, the community, I knew I had to try it! I was never a big fan of group fitness programs and had tried numerous ways to stay in shape but I never knew how big of a change I would experience, physically and mentally, by going down this path.
Seeing what the human body is actually capable of is an amazing thing. And now, almost 3 years in, I am proud and excited to be able to share my knowledge with others by coaching. I love being a part of other peoples’ journey to better themselves and what a great place CrossFit ELC is to do that! I am excited to be a part of this team!

Certified Yoga Instructor at the 500 hour level
Giulia began her yoga practice three years ago as way to reconnect with her body and mind after years of battling eating disorders. She felt she had found an exercise and health routine she could truly make her own and soon discovered so could anyone else.
Yoga helped her regain her strength and confidence back by cultivating compassion, creating a safe space of expression, and facilitating the conversation between the brain and the body into a working relationship. She was inspired to become a teacher to learn more about the philosophical system of yoga beyond the physical benefits. In January of 2017 she embarked on a journey to India and Nepal where she became a 500-hours registered yoga teacher under the guide of Yogi Chentan Mahesh.
She is now a third year student at the University of Minnesota Morris pursuing a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.
