Hatha is an all-encompassing style of yoga that lays the foundation of your practice. This practice of basic asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) is perfect for those looking for a relatively gentle, slow and relaxed class. (1 Flame Class)
Vinyasa is a broad term used to describe many styles of yoga; a Vinyasa is essentially any union of movement and breath. In this class, you can expect to pay extra attention to your breath as it leads your body through a repeated movement or sequence. This flowing style of yoga is perfect for those cultivating body awareness, mindfulness, & confidence in their practice. (2 Flame Class)
Unlike Hatha yoga, where a typical class could include up to 20 – 30 poses, restorative yoga usually focuses on five or six poses, using props that will allow you to relax into the pose and hold it for longer periods of time (up to five minutes). With a focus on relaxing the body fully in each pose, you will leave the room feeling lighter, rejuvenated and comfortable.
Sculpt + Flow Yoga
When muscle meets breath, Sculpt + Flow Yoga is born. Work your body, mind, and spirit, as you breathe, move, stretch, pulse, and pump to upbeat tracks. You’ll combine challenging Vinyasa flow with accessible Power flow to find your edge. Whatever you show up with will be matched by what you leave with. Whatever your motivation or desire, Sculpt + Flow Yoga will make you want more. We’ve combined the strength and endurance of a free-weight sculpt class (but dropped the weights, since you can get where you want to go with just your body) with the mindful and alignment focused components of a flow class. Get ready to have a really good time (if you’re lucky, with some laughs) and walk away with everything you were looking for. Join us, it’s sure to be worth it!!
